I completed my training at Health Enrichment Center Therapeutic Massage in 2008, where I had extensive training in Sports massage, Deep Tissue massage, Therapeutic massage, Lymphatic Drain massage, and Prenatal massage.
During my time at HEC, I received hands on internship training with the Detroit Lions, UM Swim Team, the VA Hospital in Detroit, and Genesys Hospice Care Center. Through these amazing experiences I got to do what I love and am passionate about, which is working one-on-one with my clients to meet every wellness goal, whether it be the everyday aches and pains or recovery from sports related injuries.
Sharon is a licensed massage therapist of 10+ years. She graduated from Oakland community college. After her husband’s battle with cancer, Sharon witnessed the amazing effects of massage while he was undergoing this disease. Physically and mentally, the differences were astounding in this man after a treatment. These experiences with massage therapy created a passion within her where she set out to help others in need no matter what their personal ailment. Sharon’s long term clientele indicates that her clients enjoy the type of massage that she performs. Many clients explain her technique to be a stress reduction relaxation massage with specialized deep tissue work. She is aware of the body’s physical limitations, as she is avid runner, hiker and a cyclist. Her warm and caring personality along with her knowledge in the body's anatomy will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed after your session with her.
My journey as a massage Therapist started back in 1995 where I attended the Massage program at Lansing Community College. I am a licensed massage therapist and have worked in and out of the massage field over the last 22 years. I believe we all need to take time out of our busy lives and nurture ourselves so that we can have better health and be more productive allowing us to better serve others. I remember reading somewhere to, “Fill your own cup first and nourish others with the overflow” and I try to live by that motto.
My specialty is Swedish Relaxation with some Deep Tissue work. I think my style reflects a need to address those problematic areas while still providing a space where you can relax your mind and let go of the stresses of life, if even for just an hour here and there.
I am in awe at how miraculous the human body is that it can repair itself if kept in balance. I feel honored that people allow me to be a part of their healing journey and I look forward to meeting and working with you. I hope I can be a small part in giving you those precious moments to rejuvenate, renew, and recharge.

I have had two common threads throughout my life. Working with my hands and living an active healthy life. As a licensed cosmetologist for over twenty years, I have worked with many clients to help them look and feel better by working on their hands and feet. Not knowing it at the time, I had already begun my massage career when I was giving massages during manicures and pedicures.
I always loved being in the gym, cooking healthy food and mountain biking in my spare time. After experiencing a series of losses I found myself being over trained and depleted from excessive strength training at the gym. It was fortunate enough for me that my gym also offered Yoga. Through Yoga I found the balance in my life that I so desperately needed and became a 200 hour certified Yoga instructor in 2010. My teaching got me more involved in how the body moves and helping people to heal. It was a natural choice for me to further my education and skills. I am proud to have become a Licensed Massage Therapist and be part the body working community in
I am a graduate of the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy. I am certified in both myofascial therapy and neuromuscular therapy. Based on the client’s makeup, I use different modalities to alleviate aches and pains from their every day life, postural distortions, TMJ, migraines, sports, and any other issues they might have. Growing up, I was part of a family that recognized the importance of taking care of your body as a whole. That experience taught me that it was important to find balance in your body. In today’s fast-paced world, it is even more important to make the time to care for and find comfort in your body.
In life, when passion meets purpose, our careers become our callings. Bringing care to others through the gift of massage therapy is my passion and the career which chose me. In a world where we are so often depleted due to demands on our time, meeting the needs of our families, and one’s own career, it is a pleasure and a privilege that I have been able to support my client’s well-being over the last twenty years.
Massage therapy has been shown to reduce not only one’s stress levels, but research suggests there are a plethora of positive outcomes when massage is added to one’s health and wellness routines. Let me become a part of your routine.
Massage allows for a distraction free environment. Together, we can attend to the messages being sent from your body and through massage, address these messages, in order to work towards wholistic health. I am confident that my experience as a nurse, mom, wife, sister, friend, as well as my credentials will put clients at ease and allow for us to find a space of healing together through massage.
