What is the rationale for implementing a cancellation fee?

Consider this scenario: you arrive at work prepared to fulfill your responsibilities and receive your compensation, only to find out that your services are no longer needed for part of the day—without any prior notification from your employer. 

This situation results in a loss of income for those hours.

It is essential to acknowledge that your therapist relies on this profession for their livelihood. While they are dedicated to their work, the financial repercussions of last-minute cancellations are significant. 

We understand that emergencies can arise, and in such instances, we are willing to waive the cancellation fee. However, if you feel unwell after receiving your 24-hour confirmation email, we kindly request that you cancel your appointment. For cancellations outside of business hours, email is the most effective way to communicate.

Our 12 hour cancelation policy allows you to make changes or cancel your massage within 12 hours. We appreciate you cancelling your appointment when you are not well. 

Those who abuse our 12 hour cancellation policy will be charged a fee for a late cancelled or missed appointment. 

($20/30 minute session, $40/60 minute session, $50/75 minute session,  $60/90 minute session) 

Please keep in mind that your therapist has reserved your appointment time for you. 

Last-minute cancellations not only create missed opportunities for others seeking appointments but also result in lost income for your therapist.
